Antinori sparkling wines from Franciacorta: Montenisa

The name of the region – "Little France" – believed to date back to Charles the Great, could not be more fitting. This is where sparkling wines such as Champagne are produced by secondary fermentation in the bottle. The Antinori family owns a winery here called Montenisa, where the vineyards are mainly cultivated with Chardonnay, Pinot Nero and Pinot Bianco, the most important varieties for the Italian sparkling wine, Franciacorta. White variants such as the Cuvée Royale Brut Franciacorta DOCG as well as rosés such as Marchese Antinori Rosé Brut Franciacorta DOCG are among the Italian "champagnes" of the Antinori family.

From 2 January 2024 we are open daily from 11.30 am to 11.30 pm, with hot meals available until 10 pm.
